Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

The short version

  • The game has no accounts. It never asks for your name, email or contacts.
  • Your game progress stays on your phone.
  • With your consent, the game sends usage statistics and crash reports so we can improve it, and shows rewarded ads.
  • If you are under 13, the game shows no ads and collects no analytics.
  • We never sell your data. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. Who we are

Demon Orbit is an independent game made by &Dice, a company registered in the Netherlands ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the processing described here.

Contact for anything about this policy or your data: support@demonorbit.com.

This policy covers the Demon Orbit mobile game ("the game") and the website demonorbit.com ("the website").

2. The game

Data we do not collect

The game has no login or account system. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or payment details.

Data stored only on your device

Your progress, settings, purchases you have unlocked and your consent choices are saved on your device. We cannot see this data. Uninstalling the game deletes it.

Data collected by the game and its service providers

When you allow it, the game and the services listed in section 4 automatically collect:

  • Device and app identifiers, such as the Firebase installation ID and, for ads, the Android advertising ID.
  • Gameplay and app-interaction events, such as levels started and completed, items bought, and ads viewed.
  • Crash reports and diagnostics, such as device model, operating system version and error traces.
  • Approximate location (country or region), derived from your IP address.
  • Purchase events, such as which item was bought and its price. Payments themselves are handled by Google Play; we never receive your card or bank details.

Test versions of the game distributed before launch may include only some of these services.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

PurposeLegal basis (GDPR)
Understanding how the game is played, to improve balance and fix confusing parts (analytics)Your consent, asked in the game
Finding and fixing crashesOur legitimate interest in a working game
Showing rewarded ads you choose to watch, and measuring themYour consent for personalised ads; otherwise our legitimate interest in funding the game with non-personalised ads
Processing and restoring in-app purchasesPerforming our agreement with you
Preventing fraud and abuse of ads and purchasesOur legitimate interest

Ads

The game only shows rewarded ads: you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads. Ads are delivered through AppLovin MAX, which works with other ad networks to fill them.

3. The website

  • Warden's List (email sign-up). If you sign up, we store your email address with our newsletter provider MailerLite to send you launch news and your launch-day gift code. The legal basis is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
  • Hosting. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
  • Fonts. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address with it.
  • No tracking. The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

4. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the game and website. They process it under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics): privacy information
  • AppLovin MAX and the ad networks it works with: AppLovin privacy policy
  • Google Play (downloads, payments): Google privacy policy
  • MailerLite (Warden's List): MailerLite privacy policy
  • GitHub Pages (website hosting): GitHub privacy statement

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep data

  • Analytics data: up to 14 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Crash reports: up to 90 days.
  • Warden's List email addresses: until you unsubscribe.
  • Game progress: on your device only, until you uninstall the game.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Change your consent for analytics and personalised ads at any time in the game's Settings.
  • Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings.
  • Leave the Warden's List with the unsubscribe link in any email.

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.

To use these rights, email support@demonorbit.com. Because the game has no accounts, we may ask for details that help us find the data linked to your device. We answer within one month.

You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country, for example the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or the AEPD in Spain.

7. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13. When the game starts, we ask for your age. If you indicate you are under 13, the game shows no ads and collects no analytics. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

All data the game and website send is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Our providers store data on secured infrastructure.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the game's data practices change, and change the date at the top.
